The year 2024 is special for Team Uganda. They are making their ICC T20 World Cup debut after emerging victorious in a closely-fought qualification campaign in Africa. The presence of talented all-rounder Alpesh Ramjani and a fearless bowler like Frank Nsubuga make Brian Masaba-led Uganda a confident side ahead of their first appearance at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cups.

As mentioned before, a very impressive performance at the qualification stage, is a stern warning for Uganda's opponents of Group C. Cricket fans can brace themselves for fireworks as they face off against the hosts Indies, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Afghanistan.
Interestingly, Uganda is travelling to the US and the Caribbean with 43-year-old Frank Nsubuga, the oldest player of the tournament, in their ranks.
Riazat Ali Shah and Dinesh Nakrani are also two notable players known for their aggressive batting style that certainly will help Uganda spring a surprise or two, if not more! Youngster Juma Miyaji, who was part of the 2022 U-19 World Cup, is another impressive player in the squad who is expected to deliver at the big stage.
