India vs South Africa ICC T20 World Cup 2024 final LIVE: Asked to chase India's 176/7 at Barbados's batting-friendly track, South African openers Reeza Hendricks and Quinton de Kock wanted to start strongly against the Indian pace battery. The Proteas batter walks back for 4 off 5 balls. South Africa 7/1 as Aiden Markram walks in. The captain finds a boundary in the very first ball to take his team past the two-digit mark. Bumrah finishes strongly sans leaking any more runs.

OVER 3: Arshdeep Singh continues. In the third ball of the over, Singh gets Markram. An ill-timed swing results his innings ending at Pant's gloves behind the wickets. The penultimate ball of the over witnessed India reveiwing a caught-behind decision. The ultra edge confirmed the umpire's decision was right as there was no contact.
