Mumbai's Marine Drive was thronged by thousands ahead of Rohit Sharma-led Team India's victory parade in an open-top bus with the T20 World Cup trophy on Thursday evening. Traffic came to a standstill along the route of the victory parade as cricket-crazy people gathered in large numbers to treat the trophy parade en route to the Wankhede.
Ever since the aircraft carrying the Indian squad that lifted the coveted trophy touched down at the Mumbai airport from New Delhi, media cameras have been following the team. Incidentally, even the open-top bus that left Wankhede to pick up the squad for the parade got stuck amidst the sea of people on the roads of Marine Drive and needed police intervention to resume its journey.
Meanwhile, another video has now captured the attention of netizens and they can't get enough of it. The viral video showed a man clinging to a branch of a tree to get a closer look at the team bus as the parade progressed. The unidentified fan did succeed in his venture as he remained unnoticed on the tree until the open-top "Vijay Rath" carrying Team India went past him.
The viral videos and images showed him clicking photos with the camera flash turned on while lying down on the tree branch, as the unsuspecting Indian players kept waving at the fans on either side.
"A guy was waiting for Team India , See how he hides himself from everyone to see indian players Indian fans are crazy !!!!," a user who shared the image of the man on the tree-top wrote.
