A perceived parody of the last supper of Jesus Christ with his disciples performed at the opening ceremony of 2024 Paris Olympics, by drag queens and dancers, has the social media users fuming.
A group of 18 performers were seated behind a table before breaking into the performance, with a woman at the centre. A halo that seen in the Leonardo da Vinci's painting of last supper of Jesus is over her head.
The X users were not convinced by the argument of the Olympics that the performance of the drag queens was an "interpretation of the Greek God Dionysus makes us aware of the absurdity of violence between human beings."

Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk reportedly said the the performance was “extremely disrespectful to Christians.”
Former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis called it “overt pagan and satanic symbolism.”
