Bundesliga's Borussia Dortmund (BVB) and ISL side Kerala Blasters (KBFC) are famous for turning their stadiums into human walls of yellow on match days. Although the German club operates at a rather elite footballing level when compared to the Indian top league, Borussia Dortmund hailed Kerala Blasters on Friday on their official X handle.
"BEST SUPPORTERS ITW", the meme shared by Dortmund portraying itself alongside KBFC claimed. "Something we can agree on," it was titled. Here is how the Blacks and Yellows were convinced that the Kochi-based club can match them when it comes to fan support.
Popular social media football influencer FIAGO, who has over 81.7K followers on X (formerly Twitter) decided to hold a poll on the microblogging site.

"Which club has the better fans?" the poll asked tweeple, asking them to elect the 'Fiago Fans Cup' winner. Football powerhouses Sporting CP, Celtic, River Plate, and Boca Juniors were among the clubs that made it to the final eight of the poll alongside Mohun Bagan SG and KBFC from India.
As the poll progressed, Blasters and Dortmund made it to the final round, beating Celtic and Sporting respectively through polls.
As the polling to elect the Fiago Fans Cup winner progressed, the admins of both Dortmund and KBFC entered a friendly banter, replying and retweeting each other. "May the best “YELLOW WALL” win, the KBFC admin said at one point, while the BVB let its fans know of the final by tweeting "Let the games begin..." FIAGO further amplified the exchange between the two groups by retweeting.
As more and more supporters of both "Yellow Teams" got attracted to the poll and kept voting, the final lived up to the hype and the Kerala Blasters ran away with a narrow win. KBFC got 50.3% of votes in comparison to Dortmund's 49.7%.
"Congratulations to Kerala Blasters for winning the Fiago Fans... WHAT A TOURNAMENT. Crazy fight from both sides. Respect to Dortmund & also Sporting who put up an amazing fight in the semi-final, but in the end it was the Indians who took over with their insane passion," he tweeted.
It was in response to this post from FIAGO that the runners-up BVB posted the meapplaudinging the rival.
