How did Rey Misterio Sr die?
Miguel Angel Lopez Dias's cause of death remains unknown at the time of compiling this report. The news of his passing comes just a week after his brother and WWE legend Rey Misterio's father Robert Gutierrez died at the age of 76. Miguel Angel Lopez Dias trained Rey Misterio Jr and his son Dominik Mysterio, -- both active in the World Wrestling Entertainment. Hijo De Rey Misterio also trained under his father, reports said.
Misterio Sr. was hailed as the "father of wrestling in Tijuana" as he was instrumental in the growth of AAA and Lucha Libre across Mexico. While Rey Jr is yet to respond to the passing of his uncle, Dominik Mysterio, shared images of his late grandfather on social media, accompanied by a simple black heart emoji.
