Manchester United CDM Casemiro, who is going through a rough patch, may join his former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Saudi Pro League's Al-Nassr for a jaw-dropping salary, a media report stated. Despite his struggles at Old Trafford, Al-Nassr is confident that the Brazilian can light up their midfield department.

Casemiro sealed a £70 million deal from La Liga's Real Madrid in August 2022 to become a Red Devil. His journey has not been the greatest as the 32-year-old has lost his starting position in Ruben Amorim's team. He earns around £450,000 per week in England, but United are highly unlikely to offer him a new contract when the current one runs out in 18 months. Thus, Casemiro may decide to ink a deal before his market value drops further.

In an exclusive report, GIVEMESPORT claimed that Al-Nassr is after Casemiro with a lucrative £650,000-per-week contract, which could make him one of the highest-played footballers in the Middle East.

Saudi Pro League sporting director Michael Emenalo is personally trying to bring Casemiro to the desert nation, GIVEMESPORT claimed quoting sources. If the talks get done as expected, Cristiano and Casemiro will reunite in the yellow colours of the former Saudi champions, the report said. However, the clubs are yet to enter direct talks over the player, it added.

Former Inter Milan CDM Marcelo Brozovic is a mainstay in the Riyadh-based team's starting eleven presently, with native talents Mukhtar Ali and Ali Al-Hassan available to replace him if needed. Portuguese attacking midfielder Otavio, Senegalese winger Sadio Mane and French defender Aymeric Laporte are some of the high-profile players who are part of the Cristiano Ronaldo-led team.

Al-Nassr are currently-placed fourth in the league table with 25 points (7 wins, 2 draws and 4 defeats after 13 rounds), well behind leaders Al-Ittihad who got 36 (12 wins, 1 draw and 0 defeats after 13 rounds). Al-Hilal and Al-Qadisiyah and second and third in the Saudi Pro League with 34 and 28 points respectively.
