If a viral clip if anything to go by, Pakistan’s ministers continue to face troubles with electricity, as the country’s Minister for Railways found out when a mic he was speaking into gave him a shock in the middle of a rally during 'Kashmir Hour' — the Pakistani campaign against India's decision to abrogate Articles 370 and 35A in Kashmir.
While speaking at a rally in Pakistan, Sheikh Rashid Ahmad was in the middle of a speech about PM Narendra Modi when his mic gave him an electric shock, prompting the minister to double back.

Twitter users joked that the minister had received his comeuppance for speaking against India.
Rashid Ahmad passed off the incident, saying, “It was just an electric shock. Modi cannot stop us.”
Earlier, Ahmad had announced that all trains in Pakistan would be stopped for a minute between 12 and 12:30pm in protest as part of the 'Ksahmir Hour'. Rashid had controversially made a prediction of war with India “within three to six months” on Wednesday, August 28. He had made a similar prediction during the Balakot strikes, claiming that the such a war would be “the biggest after the Second World War…It will be final war.”
This was not the first electricity had played errant with a Pakistani minister. Just a day before, reports emerged that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan faced a power cut in his office over non-payment of his electricity bill, which had reached the tune of 41 lakh rupees in August from 35 lakh rupees in July. Reportedly, the total amount owed by the Pakistan Secretariat to the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESC) runs in crores of rupees. IESC had issued a notice to Imran Khan, with a power cut likely if the bill is not paid.
