Those hoping to travel to Disneyland anytime soon, rejoice, for, the theme park plans to make masks optional for full-vaccinated guests. The theme park made the announcement on its website. They had introduced a mask mandate around April 2021, when the park reopened after the lockdown in March 2020. Masks will be optional for visitors who have gotten two jabs across all four of Disney World’s theme parks. Disney's California theme park will also make masks optional for vaccinated visitors. However, officials at both locations won't be checking visitor vaccination status.

Only recently, Universal Orlando Resort and cruise operator Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd made face coverings optional for their guests. The Disney World in Orlando in Florida said it expects guests who are not fully vaccinated to wear masks in all indoor venues such as theatres, while face coverings were optional outdoors.
All patrons will be expected to wear masks in certain indoor settings like transportation. Several major American firms, including Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase & Co, have also made masks optional for their workers. President Joe Biden, however, had said last week that dropping COVID-19 mask mandates entirely was "probably premature".
