Ukraine defence ministry, on Wednesday, claimed that the country is "invincible".
Taking to Twitter, the ministry claimed that 40 per cent of the Russian military units have been defeated and destroyed "during these three bloody weeks". “Russia is forming and sending in new ones. They will meet the same fate. Ukraine is invincible!," the tweet read.
In another tweet, the ministry said 100 children have been killed during the last 20 days. "Today a tragic bloody line was crossed: more than 100 children were killed during 20 days of Russia's war against Ukraine. Every second 1 child leaves Ukraine to escape the war. Russia will be held to account and will pay for everything."
Russian troops are at the gates of Kyiv and have taken heavy losses, failing to seize any of the bigger cities of Ukraine, three weeks into the invasion.

Ukrainian presidential adviser Oleksiy Arestovych claimed that Russia has used up its resources. In a video briefing, he said Ukraine armed forces are carrying out small-scale counter attacks on several fronts and the invading troops have not been able to advance further because of depleted resources.
According to Reuters, an intelligence assessment by Britain, released on Wednesday, said Russian forces were trapped on roads, struggling to cope with Ukrainian terrain and have suffered another setback because of the failure to gain control of the air. "The tactics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have adeptly exploited Russia's lack of manoeuvre, frustrating the Russian advance and inflicting heavy losses on the invading forces," the report read.
