Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reportedly embezzled at least $400 million, which was sent to the country for the purchase of diesel fuel.
"The Ukrainian president and many in his entourage have been skimming untold millions from the American dollars earmarked for diesel fuel payments. One estimate by analysts from the Central Intelligence Agency put the embezzled funds at $400 million last year, at least," Russian news agency TASS reported, citing US journalist Seymour Hersh's website. It is unknown as to how much the Zelenskyy government is paying for a gallon of fuel.
The report also highlighted the level of corruption in Kyiv, which has been "approaching that of the Afghan war, although there will be no professional audit reports emerging from Ukraine." the report also blames US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan for the ongoing discord between the White House and the intelligence community. The discord was reportedly caused due to sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines and the lack of strategic planning concerning Ukraine.
Blinken and Sullivan have shown "strident ideology and lack of political skill" over the Ukraine conflict, according to RT, Russian Television.
The US has been helping Ukraine ever since Russia invaded the country on February 2023.
