US: Six female teachers arrested for sexual misconduct with students

The teachers were arrested in a span of two days

Six female teachers were arrested in the US in a span of two days. The teachers were arrested for having sex with students. This includes a staff worker from Kentucky who was held for alleged trysts with a pair of 16-year-old boys. 38-year-old Ellen Shell Danville, Kentucky was charged with third-degree rape. 

Shell worked as a teacher’s aide at Woodlawn Elementary School and was employed at Lancaster Elementary School before that, New York Post reported. Shell reportedly had sex with the two teens on three different occasions. She has been placed on administrative leave. 

In another incident, an educator from Arkansas Heather Hare is facing first-degree felony assault rape for being in a sexual relationship with a teen student. 

Another teacher, Emily Hancock from Oklahoma was arrested after the police received a tip-off about Hancock's relationship with a student. A substitute teacher in Lincoln County, Emma Delaney Hancock was held for having an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old student. Reportedly, Hancock, who worked at Wellston Public Schools communicated with the student on Snapchat.

According to the New York Post, Kristen Gantt, a 36-year-old teacher in a Catholic high school in Iowa, was arrested on Friday for allegedly having sex with a teen student five times inside and outside her school. 

Allieh Kheradmand, a learning disabilities teacher at Fairfax County Schools was charged with sexual misconduct with a student. And in Pennsylvania, a javelin coach was arrested for sexual misconduct with a 17-year-old boy she coached.
 

A 26-year-old Hannah Marth was held for reportedly having engaged in a sexual relationship with a track and field athlete from the Northampton Area High School.
