At least 50 people in Pakistan reportedly injured after several coaches of Rawalpindi-bound Hazara Express overturned as the train went off track near Sahara Railway Station in Pakistan. Several deaths were reported as well.
Reportedly, around 15 people were killed in the accident. Rescue operations are underway.
At least five bogies of the Hazara Express have derailed in Nawabshah, reported Dawn.
The train was on its way to Punjab from Karachi when it met with the accident.
Shaheed Benzirabad Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Muhammad Younis Chandio termed the incident as "big accident", reported Dawn.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed grief over the lives lost in the incident. Shah in a statement directed the Nawabshah deputy commissioner to provide the injured with immediate medical assistance.
