With Donald Trump declaring Senator JD Vance, 39, as his vice presidential pick in the upcoming US elections, there is renewed interest in his Indian-origin wife Usha Chilukuri Vance.
Usha has made public appearances in the past when Vance was set to become Ohio Senator.
Confirming Vance's candidature in a post on Truth Social, Trump said, “After lengthy deliberation and thought, and considering the tremendous talents of many others, I have decided that the person best suited to assume the position of Vice President of the United States is Senator J.D. Vance of the Great State of Ohio."
