Gunshots were reportedly fired outside Punjabi singer A.P. Dhillon's house on Victoria Island in Canada's Vancouver. Rohit Godara, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the incident. The incident took place on Sunday, said reports.
The ‘unverified’ messages circulating on social media said the Bishnoi-Godara gang carried out shootings in Canada's Victoria Island and in Toronto's Woodbridge.
Dhillon lives on Victoria Island in British Columbia.

Reports said that gunshots were fired outside the singer's house after he featured actor Salman Khan in a music video. According to the gangsters, Dhillon has a close connection with Khan.
The gangsters had warned the singer to stay within his limits or else would "meet a dog's death".
Salman Khan along with actor Sanjay Dutt appeared in Dhillon's new track 'Old Money'.
The singer is yet to respond to the incident.
The security agencies are verifying the social media messages and analysing the video, reportedly, showing the shooting incident.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) last year said that Khan was on the top of jailed gangster Bishnoi’s list to eliminate. Earlier in April, two men arrived on a bike and fired five rounds outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai's Bandra. Mumbai Police had launched an investigation and named nine people including Lawrence Bishnoi in its chargesheet.
Bishnoi's brother, who is in Canada, had claimed the responsibility then.
The accused were arrested and Mumbai Police had opposed the bail application of Vicky Gupta, one of the alleged shooters, in August. Gupta and co-accused Sagar Pal fired shots with the intention to kill the Bollywood actor, said the police.
