In the wake of two assassination attempts on former United States President Donald Trump, the security for Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his three-day US visit has been enhanced.
Modi's visit will begin with the Quad Leaders' Summit hosted by US President Joe Biden in Wilmington, Delaware.

The US Secret Service has 'enhanced' the security in and around the venues where Modi will be visiting, according to an Indian Express report.
India and US security officials have been in close contact over the past few weeks regarding PM Modi's security detail.
The growing concerns about threats posed by pro-Khalistan elements in the US is also a significant issue.

Ahead of the PM's visit, anti-Modi posters came up in the US. "Protest: Modi, You're Not Welcome in New York...raise your voice against a decade of oppression," read a poster shared by BJP.

Reportedly, a demonstration is planned for Sunday at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island.
Japan PM Fumio Kishida, and Australian PM Anthony Albanese will also be joining this year's Quad Summit.
Special Protection Group (SPG) and the US Secret Service also coordinate the proximate security.
The Quad Leaders' Summit will likely discuss the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict and the escalating tensions in West Asia. The summit will also discuss ways to expand cooperation among the member nations to ensure peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific.
A bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden, a community event, a business roundtable and a United Nations General Assembly address in New York are in the cards for PM Modi during his three-day visit.
