The Israel Defense Forces has released a video showing the Khan Younis bunker of slain Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar.
A day before the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, Sinwar, his wife and children were seen making their way through a tunnel as they headed to the bunker under their home in Khan Younis, as revealed by an earlier video.
The latest video shows the bunker where Sinwar and his family had been staying during the beginning of the Gaza conflict. The bunker was equipped with all basic amenities, including cologne bottles, fully-stocked kitchen and spacious bathrooms with showers.
Near the bunker's entrance, lockers filled with weapons, ammunition and explosives were found.
The food rations were labelled with the logos of United Nations Palestinian Refugee Agency. In the video, an IDF soldier gives a tour of the bunker where he opens a safe stashed with millions of Israeli shekels.
Sinwar's wife Abu Zamar was apparently holding a Hermes Birkin bag worth Rs 28 lakh while walking through the tunnel. Israel has repeatedly claimed that Hamas has been stealing from international agencies.
