In a bid to woo the Black voters in Atlanta's eastern suburbs, Vice President Kamala Harris appeared with former United States President Barack Obama in Georgia. This is the first time Obama is seen sharing the same stage with Harris during the campaign trail.
"Ours is a fight for the future," said Harris at the rally in Clarkston.
Reducing the cost of drugs, housing and groceries was a focus during the Georgia rally. "Healthcare should be a right and not just a privilege for those who can afford it."
While stressing her support for abortion rights, Harris referred to the death of Amber Nicole Thurman, a Georgia woman whose death was recently found to be a result of the state's abortion ban.

"Donald Trump still refuses to acknowledge the pain and suffering he has caused...women are being denied care during miscarriages."
A recent NBC poll has reported a decline in Harris’s favourability. Pollsters also suggested that Harris's campaign has been losing support among Black male voters. However, the democratic activists believe that there is no such dip in the support among the community.
It is also to be noted that Harris's campaign has been focusing on Black voters as the November 5 US presidential election is nearing. Harris has said she rejects the idea that her ethnicity entitles her to Black votes.
Attacking her opponent Donald Trump, Harris said that his "erratic behaviour" has become so common that people no longer take it seriously.
Actor Samuel L. Jackson, and directors Spike Lee and Tyler Perry also joined the trail and boosted the campaign.
