Who was Abu Ali Rida? Another Hezbollah commander killed in Lebanon as Israel intensifies attack

Israel also claimed that it killed two militants belonging to the Islamic Jihad's Military Intelligence Unit in Gaza

The Israeli military on Monday said it has killed Abu Ali Rida, a Hezbollah commander in southern Lebanon, in an airstrike by the Israeli Air Force as Tel Aviv intensifies attack. 

Who was Abu Ali Rida?

Abu Ali Rida was the mastermind who planned and executed rocket and anti-tank missile attacks on IDF troops, according to the Israeli military. He was behind the Hezbollah operations in Baraachit area of southern Lebanon.

IDF added that it has also killed Ahmed Al-Dalu, who was a member of the Islamic Jihad's Military Intelligence Unit in Gaza. Ahmed Al-Dalu participated in the October 7 Massacre in the Israeli community of Kfar Aza. Another terrorsit was also killed in the attack. 

Al-Dalu was responsible for planning and executing terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens during the ongoing war, which will soon complete 13 months.

On Sunday, Israel claimed that it killed a commander of Hezbollah's Nasser Unit  in Jouaiyya, southern Lebanon. Jaafar Khader Faour who headed the unit's Missiles and Rockets Array was responsible for carrying out multiple rocket attacks targeting the Golan.

He was reportedly behind the strike that killed civilians in Kibbutz Ortal and Metula as well as 12 children in Majdal Shams.
