According to the police, the man drove a small off-road vehicle to break through the gate of the sports centre.

Zhuhai is currently hosting China's prestigious airshow. The incident happened on the day before China’s biggest airshow. The new aircraft debuted at the show included the PLA Air Force’s J-35A fighter jets, which appeared in public for the first time.

Meanwhile, Chinese President Xi Jinping has urged all-out efforts to treat the people injured in the car ramming case and also demanded punishing the perpetrator in accordance with the law.
