A Secret Service agent was fired after he invited his girlfriend to the Hawaii beach house owned by the Obamas so that he could have sex with her in Michelle's bathroom. The agent, who has not been identified, was protecting the ex-president and his family in 2022 when the incident happened.
The details of the protocol breach were revealed in a tell-all book "Undercover Heartbreak: A Memoir of Trust and Trauma," penned by the girlfriend Koryeah Dwanyen. In the book, Dwanyen even claims that the agent, which she identifies using the pseudonym 'Dale', even sent her photos of the mansion and suggested a tour.
"No one will know. If anything, I’m the one who could get in trouble," says the agent in the memoir. He also suggested having sex in Michelle's bathroom. "We should have sex in Michelle [Obama]’s bathroom, like a mile-high club," Dwanyen claims he said.
However, the senior agent's alleged violations of security protocol prompted an internal investigation by the Secret Service, after which he was fired from the job.
The Secret Service too confirmed the incident. Anthony Guglielmi, the agency's chief of communications, told ABC News that an incident matching the book's Hawaii anecdote had occurred and the agent involved was fired after a probe was launched.
"On Nov. 6, 2022, a Secret Service agent involved in protective functions brought an individual who did not have authorised access into a protectee’s residence without permission," Guglielmi said. "As soon as the Secret Service became aware of the incident, the agent involved was immediately suspended and after a full investigation, terminated," he told ABC News.
Guglielmi added that the protectees were not present at the time of the incident, but the incident was still deemed an "unacceptable violation of our protocols, our protectees’ trust and everything we stand for."
Dwanyen also made a stunning revelation, adding that the agent was leading a double life and lied to her that he was divorced when he was still married. She adds that she first met the Secret Service agent in 2022 while he was assigned to the security detail of the Obama family and while she was vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard.
After she realised his flaws, Dwanyen sent an email to his boss over her fears related to the agent's safety -- as well as his family’s and her own. She also met the agent's boss multiple times who set up an interview with agents in the Inspection Division of the Secret Service’s Office of Professional Responsibility, Dwanyen told ABC.
