President-elect Donald Trump celebrated his election victory on Saturday night at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in New York. He was joined by his 'best bud' Elon Musk and some cabinet picks.

Fans cheered as Trump walked into the heavily guarded Madison Square Garden in New York City. He spent hours at the arena alongside UFC President Dana White and Tesla CEO.

Among the cabinet picks, secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr, intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard, House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson, and Vivek Ramaswamy, who will lead Trump's cost-cutting “Department of Government Efficiency” with Musk, also joined.

The event at UFC 309 was a battle for the undisputed championship of the world between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic. Jones won the title and thanked Trump in his victory speech.

"I want to say a big thank you to President Donald Trump for being here tonight," he said. Later Jones went over and greeted him by showing his title.

Trump spent hours at the event, watching five matches until past 1:30 am on Sunday.

Dana White has been one of Trump's backers and while addressing a gathering at the Republican National Convention in July, she said, "I'm in the tough guy business and this man is the toughest, most resilient human being I have ever met in my entire life."

Country singer Jelly Roll also joined Trump in his election victory celebration.

Trump waved to fans, who chanted "USA" as he walked to the octagon and also danced as his signature campaign song, 'YMCA' played in the background.
