Tesla CEO Elon Musk appeared as 'Ozempic Santa' in his Christmas post as he flaunted his slim physique.

In the viral post, the billionaire is seen donning a Santa Claus costume in front of a Christmas tree, with the caption, 'Ozempic Santa'.

Does Elon Musk have type 2 diabetes?

In the past, Musk has publicly acknowledged using Ozempic, saying it helped him shed weight. In the latest post, he said he took Mounjaro, another Ozempic-like drug that lowers blood sugar levels.

Musks said, "Like Cocaine Bear, but Santa and Ozempic! Technically, Mounjaro, but that doesn't have the same ring to it."

The tech mogul who is set to jointly head the new Department of Government Efficiency in the upcoming Donald Trump administration is vocal about his support for weight loss drugs.

"Nothing would do more to improve the health, lifespan and quality of life for Americans than making GLP inhibitors super low cost to the public," Musk said in a post on December 11.

However, Musk's views are in sharp contrast with those of Robert F Kennedy Jr when it comes to these medication. According to Fox News, RFK Jr, who is Trump's pick to lead Department of Health and Human Services, has spoken against using medication to treat obesity, saying drug makers are "counting on selling it to Americans because we are so stupid and so addicted to drugs."

He added that good food thrice a day could solve the obesity and diabetes epidemic in the country overnight.

However, RFK Jr softened his stance after Musk endorsed weight-loss drugs, saying they might "have a place" after all.

Dr Mehmet Oz, who works under RFK Jr as head of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), is a supporter of using GLP-1 drugs, which are approved by FDA to treat type 2 diabetes.
