New York mass shooting: At least 11 people shot at Queens nightclub by 2 unidentified suspects

At least 11 people were shot by unidentified suspects at a nightclub in New York City on Wednesday night.

The incident took place at Amazura nightclub at 91-12-144th Place, which comes under the 103rd Precinct, in Queens. The shooting location is is close to the Jamaica Long Island Rail Road station.

Two suspects in the shooting are still at large, according to the Citizen App. Police suspect a grey Infiniti Q50 with a New Jersey number plate was used by the shooters.

The victims were transported to nearby hospitals, including the Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen's Medical Center. NYPD revealed that the injuries are not critical and all the victims are expected to survive.

This comes less than a day after around 15 people were killed on Bourbon Street in New Orleans after a driver rammed a truck through the crowd. The FBI is investigating whether the driver, identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, was inspired by the Islamic State or 19 other affiliated groups linked to it.
