US President Donald Trump has drawn up a '100-day plan' to end the Russia-Ukraine war, which discusses signing a ceasefire pact by Easter, according to a Ukrainian media report.

Ukrainian media Strana speculates that the plan could be part of Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg's job of ending the Ukraine war in 100 days. The plan is said to be handed over by the US officials to European allies, from where it came to Ukraine, Strana reported.

As per the plan, Trump will have a phone conversation with Putin in late January or early February, soon after which he will discuss the plan with the Ukrainian authorities, the report added.

If the US finds a common ground between Russia and Ukraine with regard to peace talks, Ukrainian President Vlodomyr Zelenskyy will cancel the decree prohibiting negotiations with Putin. By the first half of March, it is proposed to hold a meeting between Trump, Zelenskyy and Putin (a trilateral meeting or two bilateral meetings - to be decided separately), the report added.

Once the parameters of the peace plan get approved, then work will continue at the level of special commissioners.

A truce along the front line will then come in place from April 20 on Easter day. Around the same time, all Ukrainian troops should be withdrawn from the Kursk region. By the end of April 2025, the International Peace Conference will be held which will record an agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation on ending the war with the mediation of the United States, China, a number of countries in Europe and the Global South.

At the end of April, an exchange of prisoners will begin. By May 9, the International Peace Conference is expected to issue a declaration on ending the war in Ukraine based on agreed parameters. After May 9, Ukraine should withdraw from martial law regime and mobilization, the report added.

According to Strana, the proposed parameters include Ukraine dropping the plan to become a NATO member and declaring neutrality. The decision to ban Ukraine from joining the alliance must be approved at the NATO summit.

Others include Ukraine becoming a member of the EU by 2030 and the EU undertakes obligations for the post-war reconstruction of the country.

While Ukraine will not reduce the size of the army, the US will support the modernisation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Some sanctions against the Russian Federation will be lifted immediately after the conclusion of a peace agreement. All restrictions on the import of Russian energy resources to the EU will also be lifted, the report added.

However, the Ukrainian President's office has rubbished the plan, calling it disinformation. Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak said no "100-day peace plans" as circulated by the media, exist. "These are just disinformation attempts often legitimised by Russians," he said.
