Opposition has an incentive to maintain unity: SP's Javed Ali Khan

The RSS surprises me. The BJP president J.P. Nadda announces that the BJP does not need the RSS, yet here [in Maharashtra] the RSS keeps running after the BJP. Is the RSS so desperate and helpless that it is seeking validation from the BJP now?

Deleting a lot of apps and not reading any news have been a big one. It feels like every summer there is a circus about something, and it is usually about the openers because Australian cricket wants another opener…. Obviously timing is huge in cricket. I missed my time on this occasion but there will be another time in the future when I have to be ready.

Mornings are the best time for writing. I sit in a sunny spot on the balcony and write for about half-an-hour to an hour. I am a very lazy writer. After that, I have a good breakfast and then spend time reading or doing other things. Lunch is another highlight. I have reached 90 without ever following any specific diets.

We, Indians, have really low self-esteem, really low sense of hope and justice…. All over north India the air quality is so bad, year after year, and there are no protests. Just silence…. It does not matter which party is in power, or who you support, your lungs wouldn’t know the difference…. We do absolutely nothing as we all slowly get poisoned.
