Amid growing tumult and brutal crackdowns across British India, the call for full autonomy resonated with those who yearned for an independent nation. This aspiration was finally realised, 18 years later, at the stroke of midnight on August 15, 1947. Just as 1929 laid the groundwork for 1947, 2029 could well lay the foundation for 2047. Many believe that in 2029, India will be on the cusp of significant transformation.
