Around 40 schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Monday, demanding a ransom of $30,000. The threat was sent in a single e-mail to prominent schools in Delhi.
Schools have suspended classes and sent students back home following the threat.
The Delhi Fire Service received alert calls at 6.15am. The bomb detection team and police rushed to the spot.
