Delhi air quality in ‘severe’ category, CAQM invokes GRAP IV restrictions

The CAQM has imposed GRAP IV restrictions in the national capital after air quality deteriorated to ‘severe’ category.

Delhi AQI breached 400-mark on Monday night and air quality monitoring panel invoked GRAP IV to curb pollution.

Under GRAP IV, all construction and demolition activities are banned in Delhi.

Classes have been shifted to hybrid mode in schools, except for students in classes 10 and 12 under GRAP IV.

Polluting trucks carrying non-essential goods are banned from entering Delhi.
