Fast-moving mountain fires erupted across California on Wednesday
Ventura county was drastically hit as the Mountain fire rapidly swept through more than 10,000 acres
Several people were injured and shifted to local hospitals
Settlements close to the burning hillsides were affected, forcing people to flee
The wildfires spewed flames and embers up to 2.5 miles out, reports said
California officials are yet to confirm the total number of buildings destroyed by the fire
