5. Support for SRIVT’s Mission: The Chief Guest pledged his commitment to bring the support from the government’s and from his own side, to the efforts of SRIVT, offering collaboration and resources to advance the institute’s mission of integrating Vedic knowledge with modern scientific discourse.

The ICON BHARAT conference, organised in collaboration with premier scientific institutions such as BrahMos, DRDO, DSIR, the University of Hyderabad, BITS Pilani, Atal Incubation Centre, and T-Hub, served as a significant platform for discussions on how ancient practices could be applied to address contemporary challenges in fields like metallurgy, material sciences, and chemistry.

The conference concluded with the following key resolutions:

1. Establishment of a Center of Excellence for Green & Sustainable Materials: A new Center of Excellence will be established to explore and integrate Vedic technologies with modern scientific methodologies. This centre will serve as a hub for research and innovation, focusing on how ancient wisdom can complement and enhance contemporary science.

2. Pilot Project for Vedic Practices: In response to the growing issue of air pollution, a pilot project will be launched to implement Vedic practices, such as Agni Homa, in selected cities with high pollution levels. This project aims to assess the effectiveness of these ancient practices in improving air quality and to validate their scientific basis through rigorous research.

3. Sustainability of Vedic Knowledge: The conference resolved to take comprehensive steps to highlight the sustainable nature of Vedic knowledge, emphasising its relevance in modern times as humanity faces the challenges of global warming. The resolution calls for Vedic research to uncover knowledge and practices that have yet to be discovered by modern science, offering potential solutions to contemporary environmental issues.

future challenges in various scientific fields.

4. Official Recognition for SRIVT as the Nodal Agency : A resolution was passed to take steps toward securing official recognition for the Sri Maharshi Research Institute of Vedic Technology (SRIVT) as a deemed university. This recognition will elevate SRIVT's status, allowing it to further its mission of integrating Vedic knowledge with modern science and offering advanced educational and research opportunities.

The ICON Bharat Conference has paved the way for groundbreaking research and collaboration between ancient traditions and modern science. The resolutions reflect a commitment to integrating Vedic wisdom with contemporary scientific practices to foster innovation and address global challenges.

Prominent figures such as Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, Former Chairman of DRDO, and Prof. Ramgopal Rao, Vice Chancellor of BITS Pilani, alongside international scholars like Dr. Ulrich Berk from Germany and Dr. Balram Singh from the USA, led thought-provoking sessions throughout the event.

Prof. Ramgopal Rao, Vice Chancellor of BITS Pilani, reminisced about his association with Dr A.B.S Sastry and his contributions to the development of nanotechnology. He offered his institution's collaboration to explore the possibility of offering certificate and diploma courses in Vedic knowledge that can be linked to modern science.

Dr. Satheesh Reddy, former Chairman of DRDO, shared how SRIVT has significantly contributed to various government defence and aerospace organisations through its research in Vedic science. He highlighted the institute's work in areas such as propulsion systems, stealth technology, and missile technology. Dr. Reddy emphasised that the processes and materials derived from Vedic science not only met but far exceeded modern scientific parameters in terms of cost, timely delivery, and sustainability. This, he noted, demonstrates that Vedic science, technology, and knowledge stand out when compared to contemporary developments.

The conference also featured strategic alliances, with commitment to sign key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to advance the integration of traditional and modern knowledge. These partnerships are expected to drive innovation rooted in India’s rich heritage forward.
