Youth stabbed to death in Delhi’s Dayalpur

New Delhi, Sep 9 (PTI) A youth was stabbed to death allegedly by three people in northeast Delhi's Dayalpur area, police said on Saturday.
     Police received information about the incident at around 12 am on Saturday. The incident took place on Nala Road near Brijpuri Pulia in Dayalpur’s Chand Bagh, they said.
     The victim -- Adnan, a resident of Moonga Nagar -- was a tailor and the youngest among three siblings, police said.
     Adnan received multiple stab wounds on his chest, left side thorax and neck. It has been found that the victim was assaulted by three people, Deputy Commissioner of Police (northeast) Joy Tirkey said.
     He was rushed to GTB Hospital where he was declared brought dead, he said.
     The CCTV footage in the area is being scanned. Adnan had come out of his house on Friday evening with some friends. There was a history of altercation with some persons about a week ago, the DCP said.
     Efforts are being made to round up all his friends and acquaintances. The accused will be identified soon, police added.
