Palamu/ Latehar, Nov 8 (PTI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday accused the ruling JMM-led coalition of converting Jharkhand capital Ranchi into Pakistani city Karachi, alleging that Hindus are being subjected to atrocities in the state.
Yadav also alleged that the JMM and Congress were responsible for the decline of Hindu population in the state due to infiltration from Bangladesh.
"Our neighbouring country Pakistan is known for loot, lies, fraud and insult of Hindus. The JMM-led coalition has converted the Jharkhand capital into Karachi," the BJP leader alleged while addressing a poll rally at Panki in Palamu district.
He also charged the JMM-led coalition with patronising infiltration from Bangladesh, besides accusing the JMM and Congress of being behind the "declining population of Hindus" in the state for vote bank politics.
"If infiltration remains unchecked, it will cause much destruction of the state, and people will be alienated from their culture and identity. Our festivals like Holi, Diwali and Janmasthami will be at risk," he said.
Yadav said the BJP is not opposed to the minority community but is against Bangladeshi infiltration. He also accused the JMM-led alliance of plundering the state and creating anarchy. "It will come to an end only when the BJP government is formed here. This election is important to re-establish democracy in the state," he said.
Addressing another rally at Balumath in Latehar district, Yadav said the BJP would end the corruption in the state, if it voted to power.
"The people of the state are fed up with the corruption and wrong policies of the Hemant Soren-led government. Now, they are ready for a change of power and end the corruption in the state," he said.
The BJP is committed to provide good governance and security in the state.
