Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to visit Japan to invite investments into state

    Hyderabad, Apr 15 (PTI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will leave for Japan on Tuesday night on a visit aimed at attracting investments to the state.
    Reddy will be accompanied by State Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu and senior officials, an official release said.
    The Chief Minister-led official delegation will visit Tokyo, Mount Fuji, Osaka, and Hiroshima during the seven-day Japan visit from April 16 to 22, it said.
    As part of the visit, the CM will inaugurate the "Telangana Pavilion" at the Osaka World Expo 2025.
    "Aiming to attract huge investments, the CM’s delegation will meet with leading company executives, industrialists, and several representatives of Japan," it said.
     In scheduled meetings with prospective investors, the official team led by the Chief Minister will explain the investment prospects in Telangana.
    The team will also showcase the industrial and technical cooperation extended by Telangana to Japanese companies to encourage them to set up manufacturing units in the state.
     Reddy, who took over as Chief Minister in December 2023, had earlier visited the World Economic Forum (WEF) summit in Davos, as well as the US, UK, and South Korea, to attract investments.
