Amid ongoing talks mediated by Qatar, the US Central Command has offered up to $20 million in exchange of information on Iran's nuclear programme, its equipment, facilities and personnel.

The $20 million reward is allocate by the State Department's national security programme Rewards of Justice.

The State Department said it is seeking "information about Iran's nuclear program, including its facilities, equipment, and associated personnel, such as those in the scientific community, or the movement of any of the above."

Informers are also offered "possible relocation" to ensure their safety while divulging classified data.

Pointing out that Iran is the only non-nuclear-weapon state to produce uranium at a high enrichment level of 60 per cent, the State Department said, "Experts estimate this quantity, if enriched further, could be enough for several nuclear weapons."

Once uranium is enriched to 60 per cent, it is just "a short technical step from" the 90 per cent level that is required to produce nuclear weapons.

After the 12-day war with the US and Israel in June 2025, Iran suspended IAEA inspections on its nuclear sites.

"The regime's lack of compliance with the IAEA on safeguards obligations has led to the agency's loss of 'continuity of knowledge' regarding Iran's production and inventory of key components like centrifuges," the statement said.

This comes hours after US President Donald Trump confirmed that the US destroyed 'a little bit of an anti-aircraft device in Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz, in what is the first attack on Iran since the American midterm elections.

"I don't want to talk about it," Trump said. "We do minor strikes. They built a little bit of an anti-aircraft device and we knocked it out in about 15 minutes, maybe 5."

Meanwhile, Iran's Revolutionary Guard claimed that it destroyed a US MQ-1 drone over Qeshm Island using its new advanced air defence system. IRGC further alleged that this was the 16th such drone that has been intercepted during the war and second one in two days.
