Actor Sanusha was allegedly sexually harassed on a train on Thursday. According to reports, the police have arrested a Tamil Nadu native Anto Bose in the incident. This is the second such assault on an actor in the state.
"I was sleeping, and this person was there right opposite me. I felt somebody rubbing my lips. When I opened my eyes, his hand was on my lips. I caught his hand, switched on lights and called for help. Nobody came. I went to see the TT. He called for police, who took him with them," she said, speaking to ANI.
Earlier on the same day, actor Amala Paul filed a complaint of sexual harassment against a businessman.
The actor told reporters that the man used vulgar language against her while she was rehearsing for an upcoming event in Malaysia, at a dance studio.
"I was shocked and (felt) humiliated. Therefore I approached police," she said, adding she felt 'extremely unsafe' after the episode.
In February, a Mollywood actor was assaulted and abducted in a moving car. Superstar Dileep was accused of hatching this conspiracy against her. The police had stated that Dileep wanted to exact 'revenge' from her, because he held her responsible for ending his marriage with his first wife Manju.
