The trailer of Fitoor directed by Abhishek Kapoor promises to serve a well-made love story in backdrop of picturesque Kashmir and its conflict. The film is an adoption of Charles Dickens's classic novel Great Expectations.
The characters of Aditya Roy Kapur, Katrina Kaif are based on Pip and Estella, respectively, from the play and Tabu's role is modeled on Miss Havisham's character, whose hatred for male gender becomes the source of pain for leading pair.
Abhishek has given hit films like Rock On and Kai Po Che in the past and if trailer is anything to go by, with Fitoor, the director seems to have got a winner coming. Meanwhile, the film is likely to give a much-needed break to Aditya in his career.
