Kollywood actor Kamal Haasan, who celebrates his birthday on Tuesday, has canceled the celebrations as a gesture of goodwill to people who are suffering because of the recent heavy rains in the state. Instead, the actor chose to visit a medical camp in one of the rain-hit areas.

Haasan, who turns 63 today, visited a camp which has been set up by his fans in Avadi near Chennai city. According to ANI, the actor said there is no connection of this camp with politics.
Haasan said people “have been commenting that I am dreaming big. I want to tell them that it is dream which ultimately gets materialised,” reports ANI.
He further said the government has been arranging water outlets in water logged areas.
Even as there are a lot of talks about his political plunge, the actor is expected to meet the media to announce a "special message".
