Malayalam poet Kureeppuzha Sreekumar was manhandled allegedly by a group of RSS activists at Kottukal near Kadackal in Kollam district of Kerala on Monday.
He was roughed up by the group while returning from a function. Kureeppuzha said the RSS was behind the attack as he had criticized Hindutva forces in his speech.
The poet has lodged a complaint with the Kadackal police.
