The 74th Venice film festival kicked-off on August 30. The festival also known as the Venice Bienalle for its display of not just films but music, art, dance, theatre and architecture, saw some glamorous names walk the red carpet in the past few days. And some of them did dress to impress. Here's a round up of best-dressed stars the festival saw so far.
Rebecca Hall: The British-American actor was at the festival with her husband, Morgan Spector. Known for her role in woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Hall was present for the premiere of her film_ Suburbicon_, directed by George Clooney. Hall made for a pretty picture in a strappy Prada gown that she paired with diamond earrings.
Michelle Pfeiffer: Yet another diva who wowed us in a black outfit was Michelle Pfeiffer. The 80's star who enchanted us with performances in movies like Scarface and Dangerous Liaisons, returned to the big screen after a long hiatus in the film Mother. She was present for the movies premiere at the festival with co-stars Jeniffer Lawrence, Javier Bardem and director Darren Aronofsky. She turned heads in a black and gold fitted Prada gown with her famous wavy hair left loose.
Paola Turani: Italian actor Paola Turani known for the movie Somewhere, wore a tiered black dress with see-through panels on the midriff. With natural looking make up and her thick brown hair with a simple middle parting, she looked beautiful. The actor was at the premiere of Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri starring Peter Dinklage and Frances Mcdormand
Luciana Damon:Luciana Damon, accompanied her husband Matt Damon for the premiere of George Clooney's Suburbicon which also stars her husband. Luciana looked picture perfect in a sea green one shouldered Marchesa gown. She even wore green earrings to match her outfit.
Amal Clooney: Amal Clooney made her first red carpet appearance after the birth of her twins in June. She came out to support her husband for the premiere of his film, Suburbicon. Amal was wearing a lavendar Atelier Versace gown. She completed her look with dark-lined eyes and a cherry lipstick
Jeniffer Lawrence: Jeniffer Lawrence who is attending the film festival with her boyfriend Darren Aronofsky, attended a photo call wearing a black lace maxi dress. She is at the festival promoting her film Mother. Lawrence who rose to fame with the Hunger Games series of films is known for her roles in movies like Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle.
Julianne Moore: Actor Julianne Moore too, was seen at the premiere of her film Suburbicon. She looked lovely in a shimmery beaded Valentino gown. The actor is known for movies like The Hours and Children of Men.
Octavia Spencer: Octavia Spencer known for movies like The Help and Hidden Figures, wore a Tadashi Shoji dress at the Venice film fetival. She glowed in the deep red knee-length dress with embroidery as she walked the red carpet to promote her film, Shape of Water.
